Made with natural abaca, our Rug-01 is naturally water resistant, durable, and 100% handwoven.

While many rugs today are made with modern machinery ours are made through a meticulous process and woven completely by hand. On average our 180cm x 180cm rug takes nearly one week to weave by hand.

Endemic to the Philippines, these abaca rugs are made with locally grown and harvested abaca.

The process of preparing the abaca for weaving takes 6+ weeks from harvesting the stems, cleaning and drying to separating, and sorting individual fibers to prepare for weaving.
